Thorne Glycine contains 500 mg of glycine per capsule (1 g per 2 capsules). Glycine is the simplest amino acid and is naturally present in the body. It is a substrate for the synthesis of creatine, heme, collagen, and glutathione, and functions as an inhibitory neurotransmitter in the central nervous system. Note: For sleep support, published clinical research has used 3 g of glycine before bedtime (6 capsules of this product). Take with water.
