From foetal development and throughout life, maintaining good vitamin D levels is important. Combining vitamin D with vitamin K may provide additional support for these systems. Liquid Vitamin D3/K2 from Thorne Research is dissolved in an oil made from medium-chain triglycerides, with pure coconut oil as the raw material. This product is preserved with mixed tocopherols (vitamin E). Thanks to the dropper bottle, it is easy to dose. Vitamin D may help reduce the risk of falling associated with muscle weakness and loss of balance. Vitamin D also contributes to normal absorption and utilisation of calcium and phosphorus, normal blood calcium levels, the maintenance of normal bones, the maintenance of normal muscle function, the maintenance of normal teeth and the normal function of the immune system.
